Business (Derek) and pleasure (Jodi) combine in a recent business trip to San Diego.

DerekandJodi > The view from our hotel window. We were right next to a trolley stop (which proved to be very convenient) and right across from the mammoth expo centre.

DerekandJodi > We arrived late Saturday afternoon and wandered around the nearby Gaslamp district, a restored Victorian-era district. Gorgeous architecture, but we didn't take any pictures save for this one: an indoor pigeon. Life is rough in San Diego - clearly for the birds.

DerekandJodi > At the San Diego zoo on Sunday. These flowers were everywhere.

DerekandJodi > Pink flamingos and pink flowers.

DerekandJodi > Some of the lush vegetation.

DerekandJodi > A pom-pom flower/bush (or something like that).

DerekandJodi > Sun bears (from Southeast Asia) at feeding time.
